I stopped here for primitive camping for one night. Loved it. Accessible by maintained gravel roads and we did find a toilet house and fresh water supply there. No formal campsites, which was fine. Very secluded and the stars were an amazing view!

If you like to camp and enjoy the outdoors, this is a nice place to go. Not usually crowded and affords a great outdoors experience.

One small boat ramp and dock. A few dug-out type bathrooms. A few small pavilions that would fit a picnic table under them.

Its a small, fairly desolate lake. Not a lot of people which makes it nice for enjoying nature alone. No tables and the roads are not car friendly. Better to have a vehicle that sits higher than a Dodge Intrepid.

Can get a bit windy out here. I think they discourage swimming but I've never had a problem doing it.

Enjoyed the day fishing with my dad

Great for free camping/fishing without all of the amenities. Not very crowded, quiet, decent fishing, wildlife. This lake is relatively small I would recommend a boat bigger than a bass boat. It's a no-wake lake, so keep it slow on the boats! I've heard it's great for bass, but I haven't had much luck with them. I've caught plenty of crappie, perch and channel cat (up to 19 pounds).
